CheapOair

CheapOair is a US-based online travel agency operated by Fareportal, with a strong focus on discounted airfare for domestic and international routes. Alongside standard published fares, it sells negotiated fares on some routes, which can be relevant for long-haul or family trips abroad. Phone booking with agents is a notable part of its model, useful for complex itineraries or for travellers who prefer speaking to someone. The site also offers hotels, cars and optional add-ons such as flexible change or cancellation cover. Because CheapOair adds its own service fees and policies on top of airline rules, the total price and the cost of changes should be checked carefully. Comparing the same itinerary on the airline's site is sensible, especially where special fares come with stricter refund conditions.
