Saatva: Luxury Mattresses Made Affordable for Better Sleep

A mattress is one of those purchases where comfort, quality and durability matter more than simply finding the lowest price. After all, you spend hours on it every night, so choosing a mattress that feels right can make a big difference to your everyday routine.

Saatva takes a luxury-focused approach to mattresses, bedding and bedroom furniture while selling directly to consumers. The brand makes its mattresses to order in the U.S. using premium, globally sourced materials and offers in-home delivery and setup rather than compressing its mattresses into boxes.

What Makes Saatva Different?

Saatva's idea of luxury isn't limited to the mattress itself. The brand focuses on the entire buying experience, from construction and materials to delivery and after-purchase support.

Every Saatva mattress is made to order and assembled in the U.S. The company says its direct-to-consumer model helps eliminate traditional middlemen and allows it to offer premium materials at what it considers a better value.

Another difference is delivery. Instead of leaving a compressed mattress at your doorstep, Saatva provides free in-room delivery and setup for mattresses. Customers can also select free removal of an old mattress and foundation at checkout, subject to the company's service terms.

Explore Saatva's Mattress Collection

Saatva offers several mattress constructions, so shoppers aren't limited to one type of sleeping experience.

Saatva Classic

The Saatva Classic is the brand's traditional luxury innerspring mattress and one of its most recognizable models. It comes in three comfort levels—Plush Soft, Luxury Firm and Firm—and is available in 11.5-inch and 14.5-inch heights.

It's a useful option for shoppers who like the responsive feel associated with an innerspring mattress but still want a more premium construction.

Saatva Latex Hybrid

For shoppers interested in natural materials and a responsive feel, the Saatva Latex Hybrid combines latex with an innerspring support system. Saatva currently positions it as an organic natural latex hybrid and lists it among its cooling mattress options.

Saatva Rx

The Saatva Rx is a memory foam hybrid designed specifically for sleepers dealing with chronic back pain. Because sleep needs differ from person to person, shoppers should review the mattress specifications and consult a healthcare professional for medical concerns rather than treating a mattress as a medical treatment.

Contour5

The Contour5 is Saatva's cooling ultra-premium memory foam option. It is designed for shoppers who prefer the contouring feel of memory foam while looking for temperature-management features.

Zenhaven

The Zenhaven is a dual-sided organic natural latex mattress. Having two sides with different comfort feels gives sleepers another way to customize their experience.

Luxury Doesn't Stop at Mattresses

Saatva also sells products for the rest of the bedroom.

Its collection includes bedding, pillows, mattress toppers, bed frames, adjustable bases, bedroom furniture, rugs and other sleep accessories. The company describes its current bedroom collection as extending beyond mattresses into furnishings, lighting, rugs and sleep accessories.

That makes Saatva an option for shoppers who want to build a more coordinated bedroom rather than purchasing a mattress from one company and furniture from several others.

How Much Do Saatva Mattresses Cost?

Saatva is positioned in the premium and luxury mattress segment, so its prices are higher than many basic mattress-in-a-box brands.

Current prices shown on Saatva's website vary significantly by mattress, size and configuration. For example, the site's current collection lists the Saatva Classic from approximately $1,449 to $3,208, while the Latex Hybrid ranges from about $1,749 to $3,698 at regular listed prices. Promotional pricing may be lower at different times.

The exact price can change based on mattress size, height, comfort level and ongoing promotions, so checking the product page before purchasing is important.

365-Night Home Trial

Buying a mattress online can feel like a gamble because you can't properly judge comfort after lying on it for only a few minutes.

Saatva addresses this with a 365-night home trial. This gives customers an extended period to sleep on the mattress in their own bedroom and decide whether it works for them.

That can be particularly useful because a mattress that initially feels different from your previous one may require some adjustment.

Free White-Glove Delivery

One of Saatva's biggest conveniences is its delivery service.

The company provides free in-room delivery and setup for mattresses, furniture and rugs. Mattress orders are currently estimated to arrive within approximately 9–21 days, although delivery times can vary by ZIP code.

Saatva also offers free old mattress and foundation removal when the service is selected at checkout and the applicable conditions are met.

For a large, heavy mattress, having it delivered and set up in the bedroom can be considerably easier than arranging transportation and installation yourself.

What About the Warranty?

Saatva currently offers its Friends for Life mattress warranty.

According to the company, its mattresses are covered against defects in workmanship and materials for as long as the original purchaser owns the mattress, subject to the warranty's terms and conditions.

This is another part of Saatva's approach to positioning its mattresses as long-term purchases rather than inexpensive, short-term bedding.

Is Saatva Worth Considering?

Saatva makes the most sense for shoppers who are specifically looking for a premium mattress experience, rather than simply the lowest possible upfront price.

The brand combines handcrafted, made-to-order mattresses with multiple construction types, an extended home trial, free in-room setup and a long-term warranty.

The right model will ultimately depend on your preferred firmness, sleeping position, materials and budget. Saatva's mattress quiz can also help narrow down the options if you're unsure which construction or comfort level to choose.

Final Thoughts

Saatva brings together luxury construction, handcrafted manufacturing and a more convenient mattress-buying experience.

Its collection covers traditional innerspring mattresses, latex hybrids, memory foam hybrids and other specialized designs, while its bedding and furniture range allows shoppers to furnish more of the bedroom through the same brand.

The 365-night home trial, free in-room delivery and setup, free mattress removal and lifetime warranty are also notable parts of the overall offering.

If you're looking beyond basic mattresses and want a more complete luxury sleep setup, Saatva is a brand worth exploring before making your final mattress decision.
